I Send You

I Send You

John 20:21 -

Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."

     1. We don't embrace God's mission because we already have our own mission.

  • What are your prorities on this planet?

  • What comes in your way of being an ambassador to the King?

     2. In the world we live in, Kings are not servants, and servants are not Kings.                                 JESUS IS BOTH!

  • As an ambassador to this servant King Jesus how does this motivate you to live your life?

Philippians 2:3

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

Philippians 2:5-11

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,  but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.  And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.  Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,  so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,  and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

     3. As a church, how can we better represent our King, bring GLORY to His name and make God's mission our mission?

2 Corinthians 5:18-20

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.  Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
